Latest 18 January 2008 We Made A Film

If you’re here, you’re probably here because you saw the video I made for Tom Milsom’s ‘We Made A Film’. A video about a song about a film, the recursion just boggles the mind. The guy has serious talent and I just wouldn’t be my attention-wanting self if I didn’t try to attach my name to his work in some way.

And you followed the link to find… not a lot as it happens. Fragments is very much an early work in progress. But thanks for the interest! If you check back every now and again you might find a few videos appearing from time to time (like a HD version of ‘We Made A Film’) before Fragments’ official launch in September.

Latest 17 January 2008 What Is Fragments?

Fragments is something I’ve been wanting to do for a few years now but finally have the time and equipment to do properly. The goal is to produce a number of video shorts and release three times a week in late 2008. Different fragments will cover very different subject areas; Monday’s could be comedic, Wednesday’s a straightforward narrative and Friday’s could just be trying to look pretty. They might not even be whole ideas; they could be snippets of TV shows that don’t exist or trailers for movies that will never be. My aim is that each time you watch a new fragment it will always be unexpected (and hopefully something you’ll enjoy).

I’m in the early stages of writing at the moment and will start filming in the coming months. I’m aiming to launch sometime in August/September - I know it’s a long time off now, but I hope you come back and see how it goes. If you’re thinking “Gee that sounds superawesome but I’m going to forget”, click here and enter your email address to be contacted when the site has something new on it.

PS - If anyone wants to see something I’ve done in the past, I’d suggest having a look at Adiemus. I also have a flickr page and blog on “serious things” over at feedingthefish.

PPS - I picked the name because I thought it sounded nice. It doesn’t really have any deep meaning (but you’re allowed to pretend it does if you like).
