Via the F-Word, details of Johnny Vegas’s hilarious new act:

Here’s the brief details:
- Vegas came on stage admitting he had no material and was there to “get laid”
- He then opened with a ramble about how he liked to tell lap dancers that there were “nothings”
- Next he fixated on a young woman (18-19 years old) on the audience and declared he wanted to be “inside” her.
- He then cajoled her into being carried onto stage by six “pall bearers” (apparently this is linked to the Shakespear’s Sister song Stay in the act) during which he repeatedly encouraged one “pall-bearer” to finger her.
- Once on stage, lying on the floor, the girl was obviously nervous and shaking/giggling and he told her to lay still or he’d kick her.
- He repeatedly pulled her skirt up and she repeatedly pulled it back down.
- He then fingered her “through her clothes” and squeezed her breasts.
- He then straddled her and kissed her, open mouthed, for an extended period.

Just…wow. I’m not sure what’s more disgusting: the ‘act’ or that people are defending him, asking such deep questions as, well, was it Vegas or his ‘persona’ doing the molesting and what does any of it mean? Molestation of strangers with threats of violence is great art apparently.

“This was the most enjoyable night of comedy I have ever experienced. The discomfort in the predominately middle-class section of the audience I was sitting in was palpable during Vegas’s set! During the bit where Vegas was sexually molesting a librarian whilst singing Shakespeare Sister’s Stay With Me Baby I overheard a lady behind mutter under her breath ‘this is hideous!’ The scene was horrifying yet hilarious and Vegas was relentless until Simon Munnery covered the spectacle with his jacket! I will be laughing about this evening for a very long time!”.

The Telletubbies are set to be banned in Poland after a government media watchdog decided they encouraged homosexuality.

The children’s Tv programme has fallen foul of Poland’s government-appointed Children’s Rights spokesman, who believes the show is “gay propaganda”.

A special committee has been appointed to examine the claims including allegations that Tinky Winky’s handbag was breaking down gender barriers and encouraging homosexuality.

I didn’t even know they had sexes…
I completely agree with this decision, if we put genderless creatures with tvs in their tummies and handbangs in front of children, the next thing you know they might start choosing to be gay!
